We believe the most important surface of your home should be beautiful, permanent, and productive. Most homeowners are told to choose: a roof that looks right, or a roof that pays them back. What if you didn't have to? We design and install solar roofs, solar shingles, and solar panels with battery backup for homes where architecture matters, across New York and Connecticut.
No pitch. If it's not a fit, we'll tell you straight.
Your roof, reimagined as a power plant. A true solar roof replaces your entire roofing surface, so there's nothing bolted on and nothing to disrupt the lines of your home. We install the industry's leading solar roof systems, including Voltaic ICON solar roof tiles, SunStyle solar shingles, and Tesla Solar Roof, each built to outlast everything else you own.
The wrong crew can turn a beautiful investment into years of headaches. We're roofers and builders first, with 30 years of high-end construction and 15 years of solar behind every install, and one point of contact from first walkthrough to final inspection.
As a Legacy Custom Builders company, we bring 30 years of high-end custom construction to every roof. We understand roofing before we think about solar.
Not every home is right for a solar roof. We'd rather say so up front than sell you something that doesn't work.
From first assessment through final inspection, you work with one person. No handoffs. No surprises.
Every installation includes Tesla Powerwall battery backup, keeping your home running through outages, peak demand, and grid disruptions.
We'll find every federal, state, and local incentive your home qualifies for, and we handle the paperwork.

Architects, designers, and agents bring us in when a home deserves more than panels on a roof.
Solar that respects your design. Bring us in early and we'll work within your lines, materials, and specs.
A roof that helps sell the home. A solar roof gives your listings lower operating costs, long-term durability, and a story buyers remember.
Legacy Custom Solar is a solar roofing company based in Mount Kisco, NY. We design and install solar roofs, solar shingles, and solar panels, along with Tesla Powerwall battery backup, SPAN smart panels, and EV chargers, for homes and businesses across New York and Connecticut.
A solar roof replaces your entire roof with solar tiles or solar shingles that generate electricity, instead of mounting panels on top of an existing roof. The result is a new, weather-tight roof that also powers your home, with no racking or bolted-on hardware.
Solar shingles and solar roof tiles are the roof itself: they sit flush and look like a finished roof. Solar panels mount on racks above your existing roof. Solar shingles cost more but give you a new roof and a cleaner look; panels are the lower-cost option when your roof is already in good shape. We install both and will tell you which fits your home.
We are certified in Voltaic ICON solar roof tiles, SunStyle solar shingles, and Tesla Solar Roof, as well as Tesla solar panels. We're a Tesla Certified Installer and Tesla Authorized Partner, and we also service existing Tesla Solar Roofs.
We serve Westchester County, New York City, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley in New York, and Fairfield, Litchfield, and New Haven Counties in Connecticut, including Greenwich.
Tell us about your property. We'll follow up with a no-obligation assessment: estimated savings, available incentives, and real numbers.
