Legacy Custom Solar grew out of 40 years of premium residential construction through our parent company, Legacy Custom Builders — serving Westchester and the Hudson Valley with high-end custom homes.

When Tesla Solar Roof came to market, we saw the opportunity clearly: the biggest reason homeowners struggle with solar installations isn't the technology — it's the installation team. We brought our construction depth, our roofing expertise, and our standards for craftsmanship to solar energy. The result is a company built roof-first, not panel-first.

With 14 years of solar experience across 16 states, including 9 years owning and operating his own solar company, Jeremy brings deep technical expertise in solar design and system performance as a NABCEP-certified solar specialist. He's managed some of the largest Tesla solar projects in New York, ensuring every Legacy Custom Solar installation meets the highest industry standards.

With 40 years of construction experience, Jim founded Legacy Custom Builders and has led some of the most ambitious custom residential projects across Westchester, the Hudson Valley, and lower Connecticut, including work as a contractor for the New York Yankees. That structural and architectural knowledge brings an entirely different level of rigor to solar roof installation — one that most solar companies simply don't have access to. He treats every home the way he'd treat his own.
